Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of Gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. They are also cousins of singer Dionne Warwick. Her mother and she started singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist in Newark in the year Whitney was just fifteen years old. They sang the backing vocals for Chaka Khan's track from 1978 Im Every Woman. In 1981, she was a model and appeared on the Seventeen cover. She also provided back vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls. Her work as the featured vocalist of New York funk group Material was noticed by major record labels, including Arista, with which she signed her contract in 1982, where she continued to work for the remainder of her career. Her debut album Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and became the biggest-selling album of a debut artist. The album contained several hit songs including How Will I know You're Good to Me, Saving all My Love For you and The greatest Love of All. It allowed her to achieve seven US charts-topping singles in a row and beat the Beatles. The album's first US year, the album was sold over 3 million units. It went on to be purchased by millions of people around the world, earning her the first Grammy. The album that followed it in 1987 Whitney that included hits The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the best-selling artists of all time. The film, and her performance in it were not very well received, but the music and her interpretation of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You charted for several months in the charts, and she sold more than 44 million singles and albums worldwide. It was also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer and father of her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. At this point that her much documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was a daily user.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more commonly known as an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political correspondent. Her past work includes NBC, CBS and other prestigious channels. Additionally, she produces certain shows on CNN's weekends such as Evans & Novak Late Edition as well as Inside Politics. When it comes to awards and honors Bash has been featured in Women in Washington Power List in Elle magazine. With her amazing anchoring and reportage skills she is admired by a lot of young journalists within the business. Also, she's a lovely mom to her son even though she graduated from George Washington University. She has been married twice and currently isn't. Bash is a fan of her fans to the core. This is the reason she is an American journalist is active in social media sites such as Instagram and Twitter which keeps her followers informed about events that occur within her personal life.
