Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born 25th November, 1968 in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer who was acknowledged for her contribution in American television. Her work has received praise for her exceptional performances in the American TV show Law & Order in which she was Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh the main character over a period of six years. Hennessy is also known for her exceptional performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. Other films are Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. Her acting career started in 1988, when she and her sister played twin Callgirls on Dead Ringers. She starred for a brief time on Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story. The Buddy Holly Story, after which she moved into science fiction when she appeared in the role of the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. Following that she made her most famous break when she joined NBC's hit show Law & Order to play the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. In this role she entertained viewers throughout the three years that ended in 1996. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker is well-known for her role in films as well as television series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side and the West Wing Angels of America. She received a Golden Globe Award for Best actress and also An Emmy Award. Parker received the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
